Connecting Amazon Ads
BidPilot connects through Amazon's official advertising API using a secure OAuth flow — the same method agencies use. We never see or store your Amazon password.
-
In your BidPilot dashboard, go to the connection settings and choose
Connect Amazon Ads
.
-
Amazon will ask you to sign in and authorize BidPilot's advertising permissions.
-
Once authorized, BidPilot imports your campaigns — this usually takes a few minutes.
You can revoke access at any time from your Amazon account settings; automation stops immediately if you do.
Setting your ACoS target
Your ACoS target is the single most important setting in BidPilot — every bid decision is measured against it. Set it from your own margins, not from a benchmark: compute your break-even ACoS (profit margin per unit after all costs) and aim a few points below it.
Our
complete ACoS guide
walks through the math with worked examples. You can change targets any time; the automation adapts at the next daily cycle.
Your first 7 days
Here's what to expect after connecting:
-
Day 1:
campaigns import and the initial analysis runs.
-
Days 2–3:
the first optimization cycles adjust bids toward your targets.
-
Days 4–7:
keyword discovery and negative keywords start compounding.
Don't judge performance on the first few days — PPC needs data. Give it a full week before drawing conclusions, and review the change log to see exactly what the automation did and why.
Understanding the dashboard
Your dashboard shows the metrics that matter: ad spend, ad-attributed sales, ACoS and TACoS, each with trend lines so you can see direction, not just snapshots. Campaigns are grouped so you can drill from account-level health down to individual keywords. Every automated change appears in the change log with its reason.
